How to record sound for more than 60 seconds using Sound Recorder in Windows XP?

To record sound for more than 60 seconds using Sound Recorder, perform the following:

1. Open Sound Recorder by clicking Start, All Programs, Accessories, Entertainment, and then clicking on Sound Recorder.
2. Make sure that you already connected a microphone or headset onto your computer.
3. From the Sound Recorder application, click the red circle and now you will be able to start recording for 60 seconds. Once the 60 seconds time is up, you can still keep recording by clicking on the red circle again.
4. After finishing recording, click on File menu and click Save.
