When you open Internet Explorer, if it appears small (ranging from a postage stamp), you have to click the Maximize button in order to maximize the size of the Internet Explorer window. Upon closing Internet Explorer and opening again, the Internet Explorer will appear in the same size and you have to click the Maximize button again in order to maximize the size of the Internet Explorer window.
To make Internet Explorer open in maximized state, you may perform the following steps:
1) Close all the opened application windows and open a single Internet Explorer 7 window.
2) Move your mouse to right boundary or border of Internet Explorer Window and try to adjust the mouse arrow cursor till you can see two headed black arrow, (It may look like <->) and then press “CTRL” key from the keyboard and left click and drag (holding left mouse button continuously till the dragging operation ends) Internet Explorer Window to fit the entire screen.
3) Take your mouse cursor to down border or boundary of Internet Explorer Window,
4) Try to adjust the mouse arrow cursor till you can see two headed black arrow, (It may look like upside down of <->)
5) Then press “CTRL” key from the keyboard and then left click and drag the Internet Explorer Window to fit the entire screen.
6) Then take your mouse to top boundary or border of Internet Explorer Window,
7) Try to adjust the mouse arrow cursor till you can see two headed black arrow, (It may look like upside down of <->)
8) Then press “CTRL” key from the keyboard and then left click and drag (holding left mouse button continuously till the dragging operation ends) Internet Explorer Window to fit the entire screen.
9) Then take your mouse to left boundary or border of Internet Explorer Window,
10) Try to adjust the mouse arrow cursor till you can see two headed black arrow, (It may look like <->)
11) Then press “CTRL” key from the keyboard and then left click and drag (holding left mouse button continuously till the dragging operation ends) Internet Explorer Window to fit the entire screen.
12) Then finally pressing “CTRL” key from the keyboard click on File menu and click on Exit option while "CTRL" key pressed. If you do not find the File menu, follow the steps that I have given to enable Menubar.
Now onwards Internet Explorer 7 will always opens in a maximized window.
